Pop-Up Card Crafternoon

Yesterday the Roost Books team took a little break to chat together, eat some treats, and cut some paper! Our inspiration for this mini-gathering was the new book Pop-Up Cards: Over 50 Designs for Cards That Fold, Flap, Spin, and Slide.

Here is a little peek at what we made.

For a chance to win the book that inspired us, leave a comment here telling us for what occasion you’d make your first pop-up card. We’ll choose one winner on Wednesday, October 31 to receive a free copy.

Thank you for all of your creative comments and ideas! The giveaway has ended.
Congratulations to Desiree who said, “I think I would make one for our anniversary in December– this is eight years for us.”

  1. I love card making in general and have always wanted to spiff up my creations with something that POPS. I would make my first card for my husband, just because, as a reminder of the preciousness of sharing our lives together.

  2. I would make one for my mother’s health. She just got diagnosed with cancer a week ago and my heart sank. But since she is my best friend I’m going to give her optimism; and a card that pops up encouragment as well as hope will surely make her smile! :]
