Pretty Packaging + Giveaway!

These pretty little packages arrived via post the other day from Melody Miller, textile designer extraordinaire and author of the upcoming Ruby Star Wrapping: Creating Packaging to Reuse, Regive, and Relove.

Gift Card Wallets

Plucky Pantry Boxes

Gift Card Truck Softies, Fancy Fabric Envelope, and Gift Card Wallets

Fabric Book Cover and Pillowcase Pouches

Even though we know these pretties aren’t meant for us (they’re slated to be sent to some very lucky book reviewers, magazine editors, and bloggers) we’re having a hard time keeping our eyes and hands off of them. If you could make one disappear, which would it be?

Leave us a comment with your package of choice and we’ll pick one lucky person to receive a free copy of the book as soon as it arrives at our office this September—one month before publication!

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winner, coolISFmom who said “Beautiful pictures. Irresistible creations. Can’t wait to get the book!”

  1. I like them all! Very excited to see this new book. For my package of choice, though, I’ll pick the Gift Card Wallets.

  2. I love these photos! I have always been a creative re-wrapper and saver of magazine covers, calendars, wrapping paper, ribbon, etc, with the thought to reuse and re-purpose… but I’m sure there are many new things that I could learn and discover in this book. Beautiful!

  3. Everything is gorgeous. My fave? It’s between the book cover and the pantry boxes. Excited to read the book, she always seems to have the best, most creative and coolest ideas!

  4. I really love the “Gift Card Wallets.” Your creativity is great…I’d be honored to be picked! Thanks!
