Roof Over Dahlia Arrangement from Ikebana Style

Roof Over Dahlia Arrangement from Ikebana Style by Keiko Kubo

One day, I found a small picture of flowers sheltered from the snow in the Japanese winter season under a cove shaped like a roof. The horsetail lines used in this arrangement come from that image of the cover in the picture. I arranged dahlias alongside the horsetails. This is designed to be viewed from multiple angles.

  1. Hi, Erica,I love the idea of this. I have made baked eggs by first baking dried pasta (for me it’s gelutn-free pasta) covered in chicken or vegetable stock & tomato sauce, and then adding the egg toward the end. Your recipe is making me want to add bacon to the mix!Warm regards,Nicole
